4D3N DANUM VALLEY ADVENTURE

Day 1

0755hrs : Meet & Greet at Lahad Datu Airport upon arrival and proceed to Borneo Nature Tours office for registration & briefing.

 

0930hrs : Depart for 2 hours overland journey on gravel road to Borneo Rainforest Lodge. This is the largest protected area of lowland dipterocarp rainforest in Sabah, covering 43800 hectares.

 

1200hrs : Arrive and check in at the lodge, lunch.

 

Borneo Rainforest Lodge is known for offering, the very best in hospitality.

 

1430hrs : Slide presentation at Conference Room

 

1500hrs : Afternoon Jungle Trek:

 

Introduction to the forest through “ Nature Trails ” and tree top “ Canopy Walkway ” 300m in length and 26m at the highest point,

 

1900hrs : Dinner. Overnight at Borneo Rainforest Lodge.

 

Day 2

0700hrs : Breakfast.

 

0900hrs : Morning Jungle Trek to the “ View Point ” for a bird’s eye view of the area. Descend to the “ Jacuzzi Pool ” for a refreshing dip.

 

1230hrs : Lunch.

 

1500hrs : Afternoon jungle trek then adjourn to enjoy a relaxing session of “ Tubing ” down the Danum River.

 

1900hrs : Dinner.

 

2030hrs : Night walk in search of nocturnal animals. Overnight at Borneo Rainforest Lodge.

 

Day 3

0700hrs : Breakfast.

 

09oohrs : Morning Jungle Trek:

 

Trekking into one of trail depending on wildlife sighting. 1200hrs : Lunch.

 

1500hrs : Afternoon jungle trek in search for more wildlife.

 

1900hrs : Dinner. Night walk in search of nocturnal animals. Overnight at Borneo Rainforest Lodge.

 

 

Day 4

0700hrs : Breakfast.

 

Guests at own leisure

 

1200hrs : Lunch.

 

1330hrs : Check out and depart for Lahad Datu Airport
