Explore mystical Maliau Basin - one of the world's oldest and untouched rainforest situated in the remote south of Sabah. Blessed with unique flora and fauna, this world's renown less travelled Jurassic  jungle of Maliau Basin by far will make your Borneo jungle adventure dreams come true.
 
Sample Itinerary:
 
Day 01 Kota Kinabalu – Maliau Basin
0800 hrs Meet and pick up from your hotel/accomodation at Kota Kinabalu. Enjoy a scenic drive up the Crocker Range to Maliau Basin Study Centre. The drive takes about 6 hours 30 minutes to Maliau Basin. En route, we will drop by for lunch at one of the local restaurants.
Expected time to reach is late afternoon, where we will check-in at Maliau Basin Study Centre (Dormitory). Pygmy Elephants and wild cattle are frequently seen in this area.
 
1630 hrs After checking in, proceed for an easy afternoon walk or afternoon to learn more about the Maliau basin Conservation area.
 
2000 hrs After dinner at MBSC, we will proceed to enjoy a night walk or night drive in search of nocturnal wildlife. Species most often encountered are th civet, wild boar , sambar deer, etc.
 
Day 1 Meals Provided: Lunch & Dinner
 
Day 02 Maliau Basin - Kota Kinabalu
 
0600 hrs Start the day with a morning walk in search of wildlife. Breakfast and enjoy your free and easy time at your own leisure.
 
1630hrs: Enjoy a guided afternoon walk around the Maliau Bsin conservation area.
 
Dinner
 
2000hrs: Take a night walk and drive in search of nocturnal wildlife.
Day 2 Meals Provided: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
 
Day 03 Maliau Basin - Kota Kinabalu
 
0600hrs: Wake up to the fresh rainforest air and enjoy a morning walk in search of wildlife. Breakfast
 
0900hrs: Check out from MBSC and drive back to Kota Kinabalu. We will have lunch en route to Kota Kinabalu at a local restaurant.
 
1700hrs: Estimated time to arrive Kota Kinabalu.
